A little history
Therapeutic magnetism of the mind
Before the birth of Christ, the Egyptians knew all about magnetic therapy of the psyche. Proof of this is contained in hieroglyphs and sepulchral scrolls.
Since they did not know the expression "therapeutic magnetism of the mind", they attributed this gift as just an original and divine power of the Universe. For them being sick meant being separated from the union with the divine element. With treatment, provided by priests and kings, they established the reunion of the soul with the divine and at the same time cured the physical symptoms.
Stress is part of our everyday life. As a result, most illnesses and physical problems occur because the neuro-vegetative system is tense. This nervous system consists of ganglion cells situated in the brain (anterior, intermediate and posterior), in the spinal cord and also in numerous inter-linked plexuses throughout the whole body. The center, called the solar plexus, is located below the diaphragm. It is partially protected by the sternum.
When the neuro-vegetative system is tense for a long period (i.e. because of stress, shock or worry, etc.) psychosomatic troubles appear. At this stage all the organs are still functioning, but not at 100% due to tenseness, and the person no longer feels well. The consequences are sleeping and circulatory troubles, fatigue, headaches, migraine and depression.
The treatment
It is important to realize that in many cases magnetism cannot replace traditional medicine, but it can certainly complement it efficiently. During direct treatment in the consulting room, we first place our hands on the patient’s solar plexus and concentrate on the transmission of energy. After a while, the patient experiences a sensation of warmth or relaxation. Then we treat the tense or painful areas. For persistent disorders, periodic treatments at short intervals will be required. If this is not possible treatments at a distance may be recommended.
The eradication of smoking habits also begins by treating the solar plexus. The next step is neutralization of the nicotine. After this treatment the patient no longer feels the need to smoke. But nervous and tense people should undergo follow-up treatment to avoid any possible relapse. If the patient does not accept follow-up treatment, there will be a tendency for bulimia, and he/she will feel irritated or aggressive. |
